Base Camp Drop In

PICYS BaseCamp drop in open times are 10am and 1pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (except public holidays). Drop in to connect with PICYS staff and other young people with similar experiences in a safe and supportive environment, enjoy a meal, get Emergency Relief (ER) supplies to stretch the weekly budget, use the computer, laundry and bathroom facilities, play an instrument or do some craft.

ER supplies available include Coles cards, 24hr Smartriders and food that includes fresh produce, frozen meals, and pantry supplies.

Centrelink Community Engagement Team available two Wednesdays per month.

Base Camp activities include: art and craft activities, Roar – music sessions, cooking , socialising and gardening. Young people can also access a washing machine, shower, free personal hygiene supplies and donated foods from our Emergency Relief shelves and fridges during these times.
