Household Network provides medium term independent accommodation in central Perth suburbs in shared and individual units for young people aged 16-25 who are at risk of homelessness or homeless. We provide youth work support to individuals and partner with community housing organisations and supportive private landlords to provide PICYS’ HHN housing. Youth Workers support young people according to their individualised needs to move forward from homelessness.

As an outreach program we are able to meet young people where they feel most comfortable, for example; at their home, at a café or at a local library. We are able to support and transport a young person to appointments that help them achieve their personal support plan and a successful tenancy.
For a young person to be eligible for Household Network they need to be:
- Aged between 16-25
- At risk of homelessness or currently without housing, coupled with:
- Current drug and/or alcohol issues
- Mental health issues
- Being Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
- Being LGBTIQA+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Queer, Asexual, or otherwise sexuality or gender diverse).
Young people need to be:
- Willing to engage in weekly contact with their youth worker and work towards their goals as per their individualised support plan that they write with their youth worker
- Willing to work with their youth worker to meet their longer term housing goals after PICYS transitional housing
- eligible to be on independent Centrelink payments or equivalent income
- able to pay the rent and contribute to the household utilities costs during tenancy in a PICYS property
